Course Description
This course covers developing applications for a networked environment. It includes the XTI and TLI interfaces, STREAMS, sockets, and Remote Procedure Call libraries.
Who Should Attend
Experienced C programmers who wish to write application programs in a UNIX network environment.
Prerequisites
Students should have the experience and knowledge provided by course U3631S - Utilities and Commands. Students should be able to write and debug C language programs, and use system calls and library routines.
